Nothing makes us happier than a tray of homegrown garlic! It was a great day in these mountains harvesting garlic with our lovely and incredibly knowledgeable friend @motherfawkner. This was our first year growing purple Otway garlic up the top paddocks together. Let’s talk BUTTER 💛 My Grandma used to teach me that I should spread it “so thick that you can see your teeth marks in it”. And she lived to 94. For me, I love that it doesn’t have the emulsifiers, preservatives and refined oils in margarine. Plus it’s a natural source of vitamins A, D and K and selenium. Gluten, dairy and refined sugar free. 🍪 1 cup of almond flour 🍪 half a cup of tahini 🍪 quarter cup of honey 🍪 tsp of vanilla extract 🍪 tsp of cinnamon 🍪 3 tsp freshly grated ginger Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Roll into balls or roll out and cut into stars. Put on a baking tray. Bake on 170 for 10 minutes. Leave to cool on a baking tray.
